Hydroponics

            Many People did not realize that hydroponics food like vegetables are healthier than the plants that planted on the soil because Hydroponics system is the easier and clean way of planting because farmers are using mineral nutrient solutions in water without using any kind of soil. As Jim Taylor said that hydroponics vegetables are using only 20% of the gardens space, but planting with the soil will take a huge space for planting each kind of vegetable. Hydroponic vegetables are getting their food directly from the water with short roots and grow double time faster than the soil vegetables because they need large root system to get their food. In fact, pest issues will be reduced because in this situation farmers will not use pesticides that harm the soil that decrease the productivity of the vegetables. Also, by using water we can plant in anywhere because water is the main source that is available in all places without thinking about the soil is good to plant or not. In addition, by using hydroponics system of planting vegetables will let us get highest amount nutrients on the vegetables because the farmer control the amount of nutrients. Moreover, the level of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere will become low because of using water without chemicals. Hydroponics technique will be easier for the countries that have big oceans and seas near to them because the water source could be found quickly. By eating healthy food people can get healthy body and minds.

Benefits of Critical Thinking

Example:

Observation:

Before I’ve decided to buy a second-hand car from my friend. The brand was Honda. I liked the car from its inside and outside design.

Reasoning:

I decided to buy that car because I do not have a car. While, I had driven license, and I was applied for collage, so I need transportation to reach to places that I want.

Analysis:

After, I started to look for the parts on the car like: tiers, brakes, paintwork and lights. I checked the tiers if it is strong, and the lights and the brakes are working in a good way. Also, I looked at the car color not removed.  

Persuasion:

Then I told my father about the car that I need. I told him that the car did not been used for long time, and it’s clean. Then, I started to make him agreed about the car by calling experts and asking them about the car.

Judgment:

After that, He told me he wants to see the car. The, I told my friend to park the car on a place that we can meet there. We went to that place, and my father saw the car. He told me that he needs time to think about the decision. He also asked to know the price of the car. 

Decision-making:

Finally, my father accepted to buy that car for me. I called my friend to have last deal about the payment and the day of taking my car.

Barriers to Critical Thinking

Misunderstanding:

The meaning of criticism differs upon people’s point of view. Some believe that criticizing is a negative act towards people work. While others prefer not engaging in any kind of criticizing so that others would say that they are bad people.

Over-estimating our own reasoning abilities:

Human being were created with a system that supports every behavior and attitude they do. Our system tell us that what we do is better than anyone’s opinion, so we don’t accept others criticism easily.

Lack of methods, strategies or practice:

Some people are aware of the advantages of critical thinking, but they think they can’t do it for themselves. They think it’s only for professionals, but the truth is anyone can do it by practice.  

Reluctance to critique expert:

Some students are learning by criticizing other experts written work. It’s not meant to 

Say rude things about their work, but to learn the basics of critical thinking.

Affective reasons: 

Applying criticism can be heavily affected by our beliefs and emotional status. It gives our argument a stronger stand, but we still have to depend on facts to give a reasonable criticism.

Mistaking information for understanding:   

Some experts agree on using critical thinking as a teaching method. Teachers used to only give students the right answer so that they would only memorize it. Now, students have to think harder and ask more questions to reach the correct answer which is better for their brain muscle.

It tells as that we can apply critical thinking by asking HOW and WHY.by asking these quastions you will be able to know when the story makes sense or whats true and whats not.

Finalising the critical thinking come with three steps. first researching , by reading and asking some question. second , processing which is ranking the information in order in important. finally , the output.

Also critical thinking helps as to recognise the fallacy.

critical thinking is a skill where you can identify the information and knows what is true or not.in the other hand creative thinking is creat new ideas .
